Ways to Add Elements of Entertainment
The wedding industry is becoming a whole new world of entertainment! Couples are coming up with creative and fun ways to keep their guests entertained! Your guests are always looking for the next best Instagram Boomerang and here are a few ideas to provide some of those never forgetting attributes!
Interactive Beverage Stations
Ok let’s be honest, everyone comes to weddings for the free booze! No, but really guests want to get loose at your wedding and unwind! A fun way to entertain them is to have an interactive beverage station. At my wedding I had an interactive champagne wall where white gloved hands came out from behind a greenery wall and served the guests champagne as well as giving them a thumbs up and high fives! We also added flavored popsicles (lavender and strawberry) that could be placed into the large champagne glasses for an extra flavor boost! Let me tell you it has been about two and a half years since my wedding and my friends still talk about that fabulous wall! Everyone had so much fun taking pictures with the hands and it was really a big hit! I was thrilled! Other options are to create your own cocktail station with different juices, fruit, even hell why not throw some edible glitter in there so everyone can customize their drinks!
Photo Booths
Everyone loves a good photo and how fun is it to grab a bunch of your friends and squeeze into a booth! They have so many different kinds out there, A giant mirror that looks beautiful and stands out, interactive ones where you can leave a video message as well, fun selfie cams to create boomerangs, the list goes on and on. This also offers your guests a fun take home that they can hang on their fridge to remember your big day!
Giant Game Sets
If you are having an outdoor wedding, some options to keep your guests entertained are to have giant outdoor games! They have some great options out there such as Giant Checkers/Chess, Connect 4, Ring toss, Jenga, and basically anything you can think of its out there. You can get an adorable custom designed corn hole toss with your names on it for everyone to enjoy! At my wedding we did a fun giant Jenga and had guests sign the pieces that they stacked! We still play to this day and it is so much fun reading everyone’s good wishes and some guests were very creative with their artistic skills (Lol).
Late Night Snacks
Besides guests coming for the free booze, they are also coming for the great food! After hours of dancing and sipping, you know your guests will be hungry again! A new trend (which I personally love, because food duh!) is to have some late-night snacks for your guests. There are so many options that are fabulous it is hard to choose just a few! Chicken & Waffles, Popcorn Stations, Sliders and fries, again so many options! Another fun idea is to have your favorite local food truck come to your venue and have two or three items for guest to choose from! Guest love the interaction and who doesn’t love a good taco truck?
